The most common way to support Miami-Dade AHEC is through gifts of cash. Gifts of cash are 100% tax deductible in the year received. We will gladly provide you with a tax receipt for the full amount of the gift donated. The impact of your contributions cannot be overstated. Every gift—large or small—helps us achieve our mission. There are many ways your contributions can make a difference, but here are just a few of the ways your dollars can be spent:

$25 can pay for educational literature & handouts for distribution at health fairs and other community sites
$50 can pay for a glucometer used to screen the community for diabetes
$100 can pay for three pre-med students to attend our Annual Pre-Medical Conference
$250 can pay for a breast cancer model used to show women how to properly do breast self examines
$500 can pay for a certified health instructor to present a CHEC program to the community for free
$1,000 can pay for 15 people to be trained in CPR & First Aid for free
$5,000 can pay for the development and implementation of a new program or service needed in the community
$10,000 can pay for bone densitometer used to screen the community for osteoporosis
